Over the last 2,5 decades, I have consulted with different kinds of individuals, corporations, and institutions. I was brought in, usually, at times of change or crisis, and often asked to evaluate in detail one small part of the operation. I would see snatches of a company’s operations: marketing or collections or customer service or whatever.

Consulting in this manner, I realized that I was being asked to evaluate isolated symptoms rather than the cause of problems at their most fundamental level. By addressing the individual or company as a whole, we could not only solve the particular difficulty efficiently but also simultaneously eliminate a host of other seemingly unrelated problems. I also met with individuals who were struggling in business because they were simply, for a variety of reasons, on the wrong path.

I longed for the opportunity to address the system of a company or individual as a whole. My life provided that opportunity. I encountered my own business and personal crises that I wrote about in my book Being Your Own Authority.

I turned to my own intuition and in so doing reopened a clear dialogue with myself and every aspect of my environment. I experienced first-hand how doing something of value to me could create something valuable, marketable, and integral for others. In allowing my intuition to restore my integrity, I improved my own personal success in every area of my life.
